  Q. Canon G2 or G5

Hi, I own a Canon Powershot G2 and I dropped it and cracked the back but It still works just fine. I called Canon to find out about getting it repaired and it will cost me about 300 US dollars. They told me I could send my G2 back to them and they would send me a G5 for 300 US dollars. Should I fix the G2 for 300 or send it back w/ 300 and get the G5.
