I've used an older Polaroid back in my Crown Graphic for several years; no problems with any of the films as the holder fits well. I recall a recent article in VIEW CAMERA magazine noting the use of either Kodak or Fuji quick load type films in a Polaroid holder. Although it sounds likely, I've not yet tried this. If you're going to use Type 55, two points to consider: you can have either a great positive OR a great negative; not both. Expose for the negative with a rating of about 20-25, and 40-50 for a print. Second, don't forget to rinse you Type 55pn negatives in a sol'n of sodium sulfite, then fix after this rinse. (Polaroid makes a bucket with a film holder just for this process; usually thought of for folks working in the field to hold their exposed negs until returning to the lab.) This helps get the Polaroid "gunk" off the negative. Still, the negative seems a bit more fragile than a Tri-x neg, for instance.
