Thanks for the advice! This is exactly the sort fo thing I was hoping to get here.

I still have to learn how to color-correct images in PS, at which I'm quite the beginner.

I think you have the workings of a very fine photograph here, Rakesh. The setting is beautiful and you've caught the macaques in just the right place on the roof and in just the right pose. I think you're missing a bet for a much more powerful photograph. Two things would help. One is a much closer cropping to place the macaques in the right quadrant, giving more emphasis to what they are looking at than what they can see behind them. The other is to alter the colors slightly to reduce the purple cast to the photo. I've appended a rough idea of what I think is a more effective composition.
The photo has so much potential that I think it is well worth the time spent working on it to get more dramatic impact out of it.
