I did see this as a "frame within a frame" and I also wanted to capture the contrast between the dark inside with how bright it was outside. This was taken last July early one VERY sunny afternoon, and I wanted to see how my first digital camera, which was brand new to me at the time, would handle different situations.
This is a neat idea, Jason. The frame within the frame, tht itelf has character, is quite effective. This reminds me of being up in the barn taking a break after loading in some hay. MAry

Beautiful image Jason.... lovely window ..ha! I really like the entire composition. Great colors and the split of the wood in the window with the light coming thru is awesome...
