Joe, Until I got out of Mississippi, this was always a "Katy-did". Kept hearing about cicadas and thought they must be an European car! Most times I see these guys after they've moved out. It's quite a concert with all of them "singing" at once, here at the lake.

I don't think I have ever seen one of those live. I'm guessing it's a cicada. nice capture.
