Grazie mille dearest Armando! It was an opportunistic shot so I didn't have a great deal of time to get the composition and detail spot on. I so appreciate your feedback my friend! Ciao! Jo

Yes " double hope " indeed !
Very nice landscape this one , dear Jo !
Like the captured double rainbows , of course , but mainly those wood trunks in line crossing the sand and then dipping in the sea. Very suggestive composition.
brava !
7/7+++

Thank you so much Ray. I so appreciate your words and your hugs :-) A teuchter eh?! Oh dear! ;-) Of course we can - I've just seen your photos of Heather - a stunning Heilander! - and fantastic captures. You make a beautiful couple my friend. Take care of you both - and I hope you get to the beach today! The sun is shining here so I may just go and do that myself! Big huuuuuuuggggs :-) Jo

I am so sorry to hear of your loss and I remember only too well just how my own Mother's death affected me. Nobody can ever rob us of our wonderful memories Jo and I am sure that, in time, you will recognise THE photo which will be your fitting tribute to your Mam. Thinking of you sweetie, take care, be well. A great big HUUUUUUUUUG and my very best wishes.......Ray
PS My darling Heather is a highlander, shall we forgive her Jo .

Hey Ray! I'll have you know I spent days sitting waiting for this phenomenon to happen! ;-) Yes, my friend, it was very opportunistic this one! Huge thanks for taking the time to view and comment. Rainbows make me think of my Mammy who very sadly passed away in October. I miss her so and I was going to post this as a tribute - but I'm going to look for a much sunnier, happier, better shot for that - since she was so sunny and happy and beautiful - and one of a kind! Sorry for rambling on! I saw you had said you look after your brother. I'm in awe of you and humbled by such love and kindness. I'm sure he loves you very much for that too. Big hugs, Jo (a fellow Weegie! :-) )

I never have my camera handy in situations like this Jo so well done you. Love the rainbow and it's reflection, a great double. I love too the diagonalised entry of the breakers into your composition as they run on down into the sea. Well done to you again on thoughtful composure. Best wishes......Ray

Many thanks for taking the time to comment Ujjal. I haven't done any post-processing on this (quite simply because I still haven't had time to master photoshop!). I'd be delighted for you to show me what you think can be corrected and how, if you have the time. I've still got lots to learn and this would help a great deal! Kindest regards, Jo

hi.. nice photo... love how 'the leading line' technique has been executed. but the upper-part of the sky seems to be overburnt. can't that be corrected?
