ha ha, you have been to the beach already! this is a lovely story which, for some reason, puts me in mind of a bruce springsteen song 'if I should fall behind, goes like this....

Joanna... nicely done... another option would be to cut @ the end of the beach and crop there... the focus becomes even stronger... really nice image... well done... nice anecdotal reference as well :) Dan

I must have missed this image last year. The footprints are so well defined and the path is perfect. Because of this it works better for me without the background, giving it a more abstract feel. Hope you don't mind!

A beautiful,warm composition Joanna. I love how the footprints suddenly change direction,as if the person has decided on one more swim,or paddle, before leaving the beach, making sure they squeeze every moment out of a beautiful day. Made me smile:)

Beautiful words my braw wee lassie and a very lovely photograph that is reminiscent of one of mine but yours has more purpose and has been far more thoughtfully composed.
