About This is the famous Kolkata Tram. As far my knowledge goes this is the only tram service in India. The words on the tram is in Bengali which says "indsutrialisation not only for the city but for the villages also.

Thankyou Mt Nye. This is actually a very old tram. Now ofcourse Kolkata has other alternative transport like the Subway system, the first City to have that in India. Now there will be a Monorail project starting very shortly.

I find this very appealing with its red and white colors. I can almost hear the sound it makes as it continues on its way. A very nice shot.
