The photograph is very surreal. The photo in this case is worth a thousand words. The flag is downcast in the gloomy time but resilient. Hopefully the wind will come and bring the flag to life. Great job!

Oh Gayle......This is about the most beautiful thing Ive seen........I should not stay away from your port for so long but did not think you were posting much lately but I see you have been sneaking a few in......This image however is just blowing me away!!! hi there...glad you like...no,one image i shot of a flag and trees at the park in the dense fog...the extra tree (left of flag as viewed) is a mirror ghost reflection which was the paintshop tool i used.....all else in-camera

Yes indeed, and it just breaks my heart. Seems our country is not what it once was. The image is so beautiful, Maybe there's hope yet, eh? One can always hope. It's been a long time since I've checked your images, and you have some mind boggling, fantasic art up. The red against the mist just does it for me. You continue to improve even after I think you've reached the best.
