wonderful capture of this moment. Those kind of photos is exactly when a single photos tells a whole story and is so much more than just a capture.

i LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this! i think this is a WONDERFUL shot of a very special family moment. i am extremely fortunate to have fond boyhood memories of such times with my grandparents. i now wish someone would have captured those times as well as you have here.

i am a mere novice that knows nothing about the "philosophy of photography", but for me, there can be no higher...maybe equal, but no higher...purpose to photography than to capture and preserve such moments.

i think the composition is terrific: sitting around the dining room table, his sharply focused expression (which makes me laugh), the cards facing out, your aunt turning away and trying not to laugh, the smile on your mom's face...OUTSTANDING to my eyes.

this would be a family treasure in my family.

Great shot! That ambient light help amazing well! The focus on your Aunt was the first place my eye went to. Brilliant composition, and I love that your kept the camera dutch, and didn't correct the angle. The detail you got out of the blinds in the window are remarkable, while still able to make out what's outside. Perfect time of day for the shot!

Very Nice!
