Hmmmm, it's a job to see much in the way of grain on my monitor, Roger. You did a giood job with the sharpening and with the composition. I can almost smell the noodles!! Best regards, Chris P.S. We had a beautiful Chinese meal last evening at my accountant's house. He happens to be a believer, as are the folk that run the Chinese restaurant and take away!!

Ray, it's interesting you should remark on the turned-in toes because this is not considered a "bad thing" in Japan. Pigeon-toed is pretty well the way you HAVE to walk hampered by kimono, and I often see highschool girls walking to school that way. So--even if she WAS aware of her feet she wouldn't have felt any need to move them!

What? You'd rather take pictures than eat? I'll have to try that. The scene is inviting (sans smells) and interesting. I like grain.

So now you know how to make a restaurant look inviting, Susie! I was thinking of you and your sister when I posted this. The extra grain doesn't show in a picture only 800 pixels wide, but at full size it is painfully obvious. Score onoe for Usefilm's normally irksome restriction! (Irksome particularly for panoramas...)

How quaint! You did a great job with the sharpening...I didn't notice any extra grain. It looks really good to me.

Most visitors might find it exotic, because of the colours and the products displayed. But...inviting.....I wonder (?!) The capture is good and I like the whole setting. YT

It does look inviting! I like the perspective you achieved, you can see right on in through the entry. The color of the tables is amazing. Also I don't really notice any emphasis on grain, I think it looks great. nice work Richard!
