The stars were already there, Lori. This is all optical. My first exposure wasn't as blurred, so I cranked down the ISO setting and waited for the train to make another lap round a very small (indoor pizza/play center) track.
The stars were inside a black tunnel, but apparently lit with black-light, really making them the strongest element.
Lacking my tripod, I set my 20D on the handrail.

Nice abstract Paul, did you 'create' the stars or were they already there?
I especially like the bottom of the image, the movement and color.
