John, I like how the lightbeams take you to the lighthouse silhouetted which then leads you to the nicely captured wave breaking so violently. Those are not just dark clouds and pretty sunbeams, this wave says, it's a blowing storm brewing. That seems to be the message to me.

Or am I reading too much into it? :-)

yes agreed, the shafts of light take the eye down to the lighthouse, but then theres only the silhouette.

i think i would prefer just a little detail on there to rest on

nice sky with a wonderful color gradient. kinda wish the lighthouse wasn't a silhouette but then again i really like it as is. 8)
