About She was in the backyard 'brooming' the leaves :)

This was taken last month with an old Argus C4 35mm camera that belongs to my Dad...which took all our family photos as I grew up :) I scanned (crappy scanner) this from a negative so the quality isn’t that great…and the camera itself was pretty dirty and it shows on the photos. I was impressed that I was able to pick the shutter/f-stops without the use of the light meter (that I don’t know how to use) and that they turned out at all!! Unfortunately, the shutter broke before the roll was finished.

i love the blurry and grainy look of this photo, these old scrappy cameras can do wonderful pictures... too bad that this pic was the last breath of a dying camera... sigh...

I hope I can Janet! I hope at least one of them turned out. When I used to use it back in the late 80's I was just a kid and would point and shoot so I had to actually learn all about it for the first time. Took me a long time just to find the manual on line.

Yes, Sian, with about 4 shots left I pushed down the shutter and it went loose and didn't come back up when I advanced the film. I will have to look into getting it repaired (and cleaned :)

It looks to me like it made for an old fashioned looking shot. Very neat. Funny becuase I just dug out my old Pentax 35mm and shot a roll yesterday. I pick up the film tomorrow. Can't wait to see how it turned out. Hopefully as good as yours!
