About This is something I've always wanted to try: take multiple "partial" photos of a single subject, then assemble the pieces into the final picture. I need to try this again in the morning when the light is better, but all-in-all I was pleased with the final outcome.

I liked the concept and would like to learn from it. Best wishes...

That's the kind of thinking that can get you hooked on panoramas! (It did me, but I LIKE being hooked.) If you still have those photos, try downloading PTgui (free for a trial period and a steal if you decide to buy) and see if it can stitch them for you into a single image. You might be surprised! (I only mention PTgui because it's what I use... there's plenty of other software to do the same job.)

really great idea, we just finished a project that ended up maybe 3ft by 4 ft something like that, but its not diff. pictures of the same subject, its' just 1 neg, enlarged really big and exposed on a buncha sheets of paper, they came out really good! :-) it's exciting to tile photos and get something large! :-) congrats for the sucess!

And so am I! Great idea, it is almost like building a house with playing cards... 3d with prints would be another possibility!
