this picture is one of the most original i ever seen.
It has so many space, but at the same time, there's a special composition.
This is a picture who when you're in front of it, you're can not say so many things, but it's so beautful!

There's great tension in this! The fog, and the curve of the land...perfect isolation. I love the crop, and the composition. perfect! Great detail!

Seeing as I can't see the pier I will stick with my imagination and say it looks like a lifeguard watching a closed beach on a wild surf day. This is a sight we see quite often back home in Australia as they do close beaches to swimmers and surfers on such days. They can't stop people from using the beach but it's swim at your own risk and they won't go out and rescue the idiots who choose to ignore the warning signs. This is what this image reminds me of. Good moody feel to it.
Thanks also for dropping by my images and for your comment on my Icicles image. Those frozen falls really are quite awesome to see in person. Hope you get there to snap your own shots sometime.
