The atmosphere here is beautifully calm and relaxing. Your composition with the land pointing us to the group of tress on the other side is very effective. Even the trees on the right are pointing in the same direction. Wonderful symmerty and reflections. Very gentle mood.

As usual your quote fits perfectly. This is just a lovely image. That texture makes it look like it was printed on rough matte paper. Since you didn't see that before, one wonders how it got there. Maybe they resized it or something.

A nice moody landscape Alison. I would have taken about 1/8 away from the top to just below the tops of the trees. Both ways are very nice. I find myself liking less sky and more water in these kind of scenes. Just a personal preference... not a right or wrong thing.

Hi Alison, your teatment of this subject matter is wonderfully striking. The thumbnail jumped out at me and compleled me to have a better look. On close inspection I find the grain of your image adding a great deal of emotion to the already excellent composition.

i like the capture, darkness creates a sense of excitement... i feeling good to sit here in the vacinity of emptyness that surrounds......i dont feel longing here i feel i am reached ..empty spaces containing no humanity and its rules is a bliss without langauge to explain but to feel an open feild is here to move on.....u move in these places for the photo or otherwise also u like them ?.....
