I like your logo to the left side of your print.
This is the absolutely PERFECT lighting/time of day for this fantastic photograph.
Don't know what I like the most, curves,(and curvy picket fence) smooth sand, water, textures, lines,
Guess I just like the whole thing, very nice work Jim.
Lori :)

Stark and clean, with JUST the right amount of contrast to catch my eye, Chris. Nicely seen.

I think it's probably a couple if things combined.
I always use a tripod, polarizer 90% of the time, lens hood, resize in exact multiples of one half for web images, bracketing shots so that you can do as little PS as possible, always using the slowest or native ISO speed for the camera, just the right amount of sharpening, etc. etc.

For Kevin Temple and anyone else who mught be intersted where this was taken. It's a small island, about 15 miles long and 7 miles wide, that has a total of 139 miles of coastline, which includes several smaller island around it. It's about 3 hours north of New York City, and an hour and a half from Boston.

I noticed that you used a circular polorizer in this shot also. I s this how you get your silky finish or is it in post-processing. If it's not a secret I would really like to know.
