Quite a bit overexposed, Bob. On shots like this, with a bright subject in strong lighting, I usually underexpose by 1 and 2 stops, then restore the dark areas in Photoshop, since this blown-out white cannot be restored.
Thanks, Dave, for your comment. I used an ISO of 400 with a fill-in flas. I was about 15 ft from the bird, had the power setting of the flash on high, I used x 2X tele-extender.As you can see from the shadow, thge subject was back lit.
