About I saw this salty looking older guy calmly get in his gear and take his kayak out in the rough Hawaiian North Shore surf. I love this shot because it shows the quiet power of the sea. This was shot on the day of the famous North shore surfing competition where waves eclipsed 12 feet just a hundred feet away. He picked a good day to go out.
