Paul, I am glad you knew what the clouds were.....ah pilot how neat.....I took lessons for awhile but they say if you can fly in Wyoming you can fly anywhere in the world....I did my stall and cross wind landing okay just had trouble with doing the 45 degree banks and a major gust of wind about driving me into the ground......wind shear is a problem here too....Happy flying and taking pictures. ah, lenticular clouds (named after their lens shapes) are formed by uplifting and cooling of the air to get up and over the mountain.
Just sayin'...

Pat, it's nothing strange about the clouds, clouds are able to amaze us with creations of the forms and colors atrist could dream of. The one looks like a glazed donough to me. Great capture and a great image with all good atributes of being attractive one. Cheers, n.j
