This is stone chariot of Hampi, 14th AD Vijaynagars Kingdom, in those days they use to take this around temple complex on procession day as its wheels actually rotate.
Terry, Hampi is a beutiful capital city with 3 major towns inside. When Moghuls invaded that part of India they went on rampant destruction and have ruined many of this masterpeices, is still has buildings/temples of those glory of stone work but u can see the destruction.
This Stone Chariot temple complex has a temple called Virupaksh, with 56 stone pillars, each pillar on hittting drum sticks give diff musical instrument sounds, they used to have musicians playing on this pillars & dancers dancing on those beats on procession day :)
