ALWAYS nie compositions - story - mood and wonders in your pics Murat, also here. Very strong shot. I get the feeling he´s man that lost something very important to him.

Hi Murat, This is not an easy shot to fully appreciate, as it's more complex than one would initially think. The contrast is very nice, but also a bit confusing, i think this is mainly because of the rather large dark area on the left of the image, with the lighter smudges in it.
Secondly, the feel of perspective is not created using lines towards the horizon, but by the effect of the almost (but not quite) repetitive light vertical lines and the DOF. The seemingly randomly placement of those lines do create that feel of perspective, but if you look at the individual distance between the lines, it doesnt add up.
Then, there's the lighting on the man. It strikes at a very natural angle (from behind), but it's also brighter than I would expect, even burning the back of the mans' head. Instinctively, I'd say that having the light shining the man in the face would be the ideal angle for a posed portrait, illuminating the facial features.
I guess all those things I just mentioned make this shot what it is: very natural, yet somewhat uneasy feeling. And that "element of surprise" is what I like about it. Very well captured.
Cheers,
Hugo
