Don - really nice composition and I like the presentation too. On my screen the flowers look blue - guess they are blue on Lori's screen too. Regardless, nature is wonderful in her color selection - the blue and yellow colors are striking. As someone commented on one of my flowers (thanks for your comments on some of my florals) I prefer my florals "au natural" and these fit the bill nicely. Have a good one. Jan

Acá les llamamos prímulas a estas flores y son muy bellas, además alegran los jardines de invierno. Las hay muy coloridas. Preciosos ramilletes!!!. Felicitaciones por tu trabajo, una foto más bonita que otra!

Love the pretty primroses. They are always the very first available plant around here in spring, so of course they scream "Spring!" to me. (I'm sick of winter already...!) ) I half agree with the others on the soft border. I don't mind it but I think it would be better without. Maybe vignetting instead? I love the framing you've chosen though. Regards, Susie

What a nice contrast in colours here Don. The details are excellent, and blurring the surroundings is a good idea, though I might feel the effect drops too quickly at some places.

I thought these were african violets, but Petal is probably right that they are primula. A very nice shot, but I agree with Steve about the blurry border, I think it detracts a bit. Kathy

Pretty Primula Don. I like the purple with the yellow heart. Good DOF and the blurry border is nice, but a bit too wide to my liking... well done!

Thanks for your nice comment. I keep trying to come up with something different and sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. Thanks. Don.

Thanks Steve for your honest opinion. I am always trying different things and like to hear what works and what doesn't. Don.

A nice photo, Don. The clarity and colors are terrific. The composition gives it a nice depth. The only thing I don't like is the blurry boundary. I would prefer a less abrupt transition to the boundary, and perhaps have it narrower.

Blues and yellows are always pretty in a bouquet. Thanks for starting my day with a delightful photograph Don.
I'm not sure what these are either! Nice one,
