A beautiful image Kelly. Wonderful lighting for the shot. Excellent exposure on all the whites in the image. Beautiful composition. That has to be one of the most spotless stabels I've ever seen. Majestic breed indeed. My favourite of all the steeds and you've captured him so very well. Great shot.
Cheers - Ann :)

Hiya Kelly. I have a lull here at work and it is coming up for 5am on Tuesday morning so I thought I'd have a look at your Clydesdale. Aren't they gorgeous, whether colts or fully grown.
They and similar breeds were originally bred to carry knights in their shining armour. They had to be huge and heavy to carry these men-at-arms. Sadly they went on to haul heavy carts for brewers, coal merchants and Uncle Tom Cobley and all. It is wonderful that these days they are used as show horses and are spoilt by their owners as deserved by such noble beasts.
Wonderful shot Kelly with beautiful colour and great details. Thank-you for sharing this with us. Best wishes to you sweetie........Ray

Nicely composed shot, Kelly! You've controlled the exposure very well over the whole range of lighting in the image. A beautiful colt and you've presented him very well! Dave.

What a great horse portrait Kelly. My grandfather used to log with these guys, so they always bring back fond memories of him whenever I see them. Clydesdales are the king of horses as far as I'm concerned. Very nice post! Susie

This is really beautiful, Kelly. Awesome horse and beautiful lighting! Great clarity and perfect exposure, you really captured the nice shine of his hair and the spotless picture-perfect stables behind him. Looks like a calendar photo!
