This is a very clever manipulation Brian. Although it doesn't look real it looks right and that's a great achievement. I would love to see a series on this theme hung in a gallery, I think the sum would be greater than the parts and it would have real impact. You should look into it.

I really like your artistic vision here. Great moody image that works well selectively desaturated with the emphisis on the path.

Very good work, beautiful result. I like the composition: the green way going to the dark (future?)

Eerie, especially with that sky. If the tower weren't there this would be very LOTRish. Nice work.

yes jason its two shots layered at different exposures.its a local lake area near to my home called brooklands park. its the same shot taken at different exposures ,using a longer exposure on the sky and then merged the two in layers.its a technique that can really changed a photo from being ok to something eyecatching.as i often said before i know what i want from a shot so i often take 3 or 4 shots at different exposures and see what can be done at home to get the picture i wanted. thats the beauty of digital and providing you have some imagination it can be good fun .

Is this a 'natural' shot Brian? It's lovely if it is, with one of those 'rushing towards you' skys.
