I like your efforts at trying various arrangements of the peppers and various lighting angles and perspectives. I'm glad you made the pinkish pepper the central image as I think it is the strongest of the five images. Immediate food for thought would be using a different background for the two shot with the dark pepper as I think it gets a bit lost against the dark background. The lower left image I think needs a bit of space on the left side. Also, with the lower left and upper right images, I think the white balance should have been set for tungsten lighting as the white peppers in both seem to be a bit yellow. I really think you have hit on something interesting, just keep experimenting and I think you might have some really strong images here.
