About	Anas penelope. Migrant #12 Originally I thought this guy was a red head. now I am almost positive is a Eurasian Wigeon. The largest flocks of American Wigeons scattered throughout the wetlands of northern California in winter typically support one or a few Eurasian Wigeons.

Hey buddy,
I am not sure. He has the same beak of a Redhead and an Eurasian wigeon. I don't think he is a Cinammon Teal. His beak and eye are very different to the Cinnamon Teal.
There is a possibility that he can be an hybrid too?
Any way, thanks for the URL, it was very helpful.
In the mean time I will try to find the identity of this species.

wonderful capture yamil, the colors and detail are nice and I like the reflection, are you sure this is a Redhead? should have a black front with grey sides, Looks almost like a half cinnomon teal half redheas..
