It looks like it is not just the tide that will be coming in. That sky looks likeis is bringing in some rain with it. I certainly is agrea place to take pictures. As we don't have tides here, it looks a little strange to have the tire protector so high up from the boat. LAthough from the length of the rope with the baot, it is easy to see that it will be near the top of the post when the tide is in. Wonderful shot. Mary

Aye - it's overdue isn't it?
I reckon getting a base like a hotel Skipton may be a bit on the pricey side, but it's right on the edge of the dales (waterfalls, hills, viaducts and best of all, lots of sheep) and in the evening there's no need for anyone to drive at all. Great beer (including Stella) and food and then we can see the amazing Mr Bowden in action later - if he makes it to a club.
If that's looking too expensive (i.e. eating into the beer money!!), then I've got a spare bed and a spare room where you can kip for nowt.
Just a bit more faff getting together on a morning that way.
Cheers
Ade

hey up Marky
still hanging on in here too then!
just back from a fun weekend in Lancaster - didn't manage a club this time, but got pretty wasted on the old lagers on Friday at Al's.
this shot just says northumberland all over - looks bloody freezing yet full of charm all the same!!!
the main boat looks nice and bright - bit of fill flash there?
Just plotting another meet at some point - just me at the mo, try to get you guys down from Toon etc.
We did a night in Skipton last year (Steve and another mate - not a UF thing) and we got a hotel room for about £30 a night each. it's close to lots of photo sites (loads and loads and loads) and the hotel is next to a night club and near lots of pubs.....
If I were to start the ball rolling to get us in there in a few months (longer nights), would that be of interest to you guys??
Other plan.... tent in my back garden!! next to a grave yard though!
Cheers#
