Ahhhh, Darlene...I've got to catch up on your wonderful images. Been up to my...er, knees...in 'gators lately and they've left me too little time for one of my favorite activities, foto browsing.
This one is striking...I love the strong contrasts; a beautiful reflection as well.

I love your bird photos- they all are so good. Thanks for your comments on my graveyard gazebo image. I don't get to S. La. very often these days, but my sister's in-laws live in Belle Rose- near Donaldsonville. Just down the road from you? I do love Louisiana and hope to go more often when my husband retires soon. A stunning image Darlene. I echo what everyone else says to say this really pops. The white stands out beautifully against the dark background but what I really like about it are the horizontal splashes of green weeds in the water giving the reflection an interesting texture across the bird. A beautiful shot Darlene.
Thanks also for your comment on my Sunset Icicles image. All is well with me and mine but all the rainy weather is getting me down lately. I'm solar powered so can't wait to see the sun again. Thanks for dropping by my pages Darlene.
