very nice typically chinese shot niclas. unfortunately, old architecture in china doesnt seem to be valued much, unless it has the potential to draw in tourist money. most of the buildings that look like this will probably be gone throughout most of china in less than 20 years. however, the farther away from population centres like nanjing that you go, the better the chances of finding such buildings.

Fantastic shot! It is so sad whenever I see that someone will not take the time to restore the beauty of older buildings, instead opting for new ones. I love the way you shot this, with the little old house in the front, and the oncoming apartments lurking high above them in the back. The black & white treatment is excellent and the image is tack sharp. Sad but still a wonderful image. Great find~
