It's simply an amazing shot Brian. The clouds got me first, then the classic solitary-boat-on-still-lake scene. Then, ahhhhh.... the stunning colour gradient... Liquid smooth.
Most definitely worth a nomination :)

Interesting colour used here. Almost B&W but not. Very creative framing presents it beautifully and I love the canoe. The image has a lovely serene mood to it. The clouds are awesome and give a great vanishing point which draws the eyes right into the image. The silouhette of trees makes an appealing divider between the sky and the water. Visually and emotionally stunning.

thanks susie ,the idea of the framing and titling appearance is for a booklet ive been doing in a A5 size,this suited the project nicely.just very time consuming to complete.
however i believe adding a frame and title can give it that extra appeal and you get the chance to make an impression once!.

thanks Izudlin yes a subject can often change the whole view of a photo.this is probably one of my own personal favourites simply for the three features of the photo.boat,landscape,clouds.
