Hi Alexander, very interesting series. I believe there are as many solutions as there are viewers here, yet the message is quite strong and univocal. Hope you have shot plenty more of this scene. I'd like to add my two cents worth, as I believe the message could've been just a wee tad stronger if you reversed the sharpness (Very good DOF, though) to the white pegs, leaving the blue one out of focus (discriminating it...) Also, I would've tried to create some space between the two overlapping wooden pegs, as that would make the grouping a bit stronger. Obviously, these are very subjective things. Just a few thoughts. I really like this metaphore, and a strong message...

To stand alone against the rest - thats a test! Also so different from them easily make the lonely one feel "being out of it".... Nice dof and work.

nice shot and composition, like the use of the DOF, though I feel it would be more impactful if used evem more. (ie lower point of view, with group slightly far away - but that's just my personal taste, so just ignored. ;p)
