Sometimes getting a decent landscape is a question of fast reflexes,as in this shot.About a minute before I could see that the black cloud was going to reach a central position in an already interesting cloudscape .Then it was just a question of getting down to ground level and waiting for that moment to arrive.
Tony, I'm always drawn to your photos for their interesting composition and amazing colour! Looking at your photos is inspiration to keep striving to do better!
Yes, it was a 24mm lense, attatched to a regular 35mm camera, and yes ,I did take it lying down!

Great clouds and nice light.
I'm going to presume that the camera was level and the horizon really looks like this in this spot. In such cases, I sometimes wonder whether I should optically "level" the horizon to avoid the disturbing appearance of an unlevel horizon, or should I show the earth as it is. I'm not really sure what the answer is.
