Funny you should show us this fish pond Del. There is a fish pond here on the farm where I live and it too froze up a month or so ago and I could see the fish underneath the solid ice barely moving. These were large carp and one HUGE catfish. Of course I didn't think to take any photos of it. Glad you did though. Makes you wonder how they survive the freeze doesn't it. Great shot.

Dave, This was just an overnight freeze but two weeks ago the ice was 2 or 3 inches thick. The water is only a foot deep. I could see the fish but the ice was too thick to show them well enough for filming. Del.
