I really like this one Verna, even the hot spot on the first gull. Excellent work.

Hi Verna!
Yes, nice to find "the more serious" PN-Users here also!
I justled a discussion about un-creative, un-original sunset pics and therefore I am really happy to see one of the most original ones I?ve seen so far!
Good as always! Looking forward to see more of you, Oliver

Verna I was going to ask about the glue but then I noticed Dawna has beat me to it.The capture is incredible and I love the way the Sun is sparkling thru the first gull's wings.Your studio must be doing roaring business !

Those are the same gulls I paid and they never showed up for the shoot!!
Kidding.. - nice capture, the sparkle on the first gull is really eye candyish for me.
I agree the blacks could be a little blacker (simple shadow adjustment)

Nice composition! Naturally pleasing to the eye. The sky is slightly washed out, but that's not a big deal.
Dawna, if you watched Monty Python you'd know they are nailed to their perches, not glued. ;-)

hey, did you glue these gulls down ;) Just kidding of course, I am certain you just paid them to pose rather than glue them. Nice find here!

Verna, I love the image! I don't know why you didn't get all the gulls to turn in the same direction! If you didn't use a graduated ND filter, it might have helped hold back the strong sunrise and add a little more definition to the sky. The other choice could have been a few stops less exposure. Great capture!
