About	I shot this today, the last day of the Lunar Year. The old man on crutches and his son who is 40 at their "house". This area was in slum clearance programme of the city state. They already recieved money for relocating to the new place but this man and his son haven't yet moved because as his told, his leg is still in pain and his son has not found the new job yet. Before the clearance, they both were porters for the small trading boats that usually unload in this area...

its a strong photo with an alarming message.kind of makes you wonder whether the camera you used cost as much as there yearly earnings.dont take offence to that but i see poverty all over this shot .great journalism photo yet i think the title could be stronger "Did We Make Poverty History".however i guess this is not a site to air our views and frustration so ill shut up.
