About A wonderful glowing tangerine sun in a sky veiled by sea fog is responsible for the fantastic colours. I have always liked a large percentage of my image dedicated to the most important elements and forego the natural rules of composition to facilitate it , hence the huge proportion of sky to land. The group of trees is vital to provide a strong anchor to the image. Incidentally this is an accurate scan of the original Velvia transparency.

i was been there on aug. '02...
one of the most fantastic lands i've visited in my life (midgets apart)
colours are incredibles,as in the reality
and the silhouette of the trees, make of this an extraordinary landscape pic.

Congratulations nice colors and specially beutifull composition. You are not afraid of making things small in a big frame. Well done great details.

No, this is near enough identical to the original transparency as viewed on a light box. I always try to match the Velvia original as it seems to be preferred by clients. The sea fog is responsible for this radiated light, it bounces it about and diffuses it at the same time.
