Hi Andrew,
I had the same problem with this image! The slope bothered me as well. Treid correcting it, but it just doesn't have as dynamic a feel to it when it is straight. The straightened up variation for comparison:

The subdued tones and soft shadows are really effective and I like the mood. I think the slope the photo has (apparent when looking at the pool/floor level) should be repaired, I found it a little distracting! Very good pic though and sounds like a lot of preparation and thought went into it.
