Hi Jim, Cronulla is one of the Southern most suburbs of Sydney. Thank you for suggesting the colour of gels.

Maarten, first can you tell us just were is Cronulla? Second as for lighting this with coloured gels I think a green and blue would work nicely. And as your mom said painting this would present some problems. Jim Gamble

Hi Andrew. Thank you for the kind remarks. Yes, they lock the gates at night. Actually I think it is all over by now. I was just thinking how to handle a similar opportunity next time. Good, I'll see you then. Cheers.

Maarten, I know where this was, and was unable to go myself but made a mental note to try and go. I like the way you got down low and really added perspective by getting close and making the towers look huge. The sand unfortunately is monotone and you can't help but be a little distracted by the colour of the trees in the background, but I feel you did the best job one could do at that time. I think Toni is right in that at the evening (if they let people in) you could light it up and make it look surreal and colourful somehow, but don't they shut the gates then? I'm not sure myself. Anyway, well done. I will probably bump into you some day with my camera and tripod on me!

Hi Toni. Thanks for the idea with lights at night. My only option would be to use 2 flash guns. Could you suggest suitable gel colours to start with?

A lovely story from your mom. I like what the wide angle did to this structure. It put a very nice perspective on it and made it more interesting. Talk about painting, I would love to see this at night with lights on it.
