This picture was taken in wintertime 20 years ago with a very small and limited pocket camera,and i like to present my pictures as they are,i do not like it when people use a heavy amount of digital alterations to get a good picture,it should be right at the first shot and if this is not case it is good to hear how to make a better picture,we should learn from eachother in stead of thinking ourselves to be the best

i agree with lukasz, it could use a bit more colour. depending on what time of year you visit yangshuo, sunlight (lack of it in wintertime) can be a problem. james

this place seems to be very interesting and really lovely place for taking pictures; but IMHO this shot needs some lovely evening/morning light which could illuminate these hills and add some dimension - I do not feel the sunset you wrote about - because the lack of light the picture seems to be flat; regards, Lukasz
