Bless... I like the simplicity of this.. bamboo is amazing stuff.. I got some great silhouettes of bamboo last summer to put on UF... love the close up here... this stuff looks really thick (you could make a digaredo from that!)
I disagree with Bobby on this one... think something else in there would make the scene too cluttered.. though we each have our own tastes... I like bamboo & love the leafs in the background... may have added a bit sharpness to the photo though.

Hi Ian this would be a great shot if there wher some thing of interest within the green tree, some thing like a bird or butterfly,try to capture some focal point of interest in your photo's.Sunsets beautiful landscapes and so on,I hope you dont mind me giving you advise.
