About The reason behind this is that I find myself spending far too long messing about with some images for their own good.....

So, I thought, I'll set myself a time limit of 5 minutes....yes, just 5 minutes..from the moment you press the shutter to the moment you post it on Usefilm...remember..5 minutes only!

This exercise forces you avoid indecision and over-working an image...it should be a pretty good representation of the original reason of why you took the shot in the first place.....hope that's clear..?

If anyone wants to join in please post here.....and don't forget this is not meant to be "world-changing"...its just a bit of fun!

Good luck

Manu

yes manu i know what you mean ,too often a photo becomes a cartoon/painting.
anyway its good you have taken a rather bland subject and made it into something viewable.

and 5 minutes of fame you have!

If you can use Photoshop or the like, do you think the "bold statement" could have been emphasized more...with more impact perhaps?

Randee Armstrong Randee Armstrong   {K:-820} 2/7/2006
I saw what the future could be.. I thought it was a nice bold statment.. simply put and simply slung over her sholder )

Excellent work, Randee....what did you see/visualise when you first put the camera up to your eyes? or phone in your case?

I did this with my tree Manu. It's in my portfolio called "Morning Glow". I saw the sun hit it against the black sky so I grabbed my camera, grabbed the shot, uploaded it to my computer and posted it here all within minutes. All I did was resize the file as digital files are almost a meg on my camera.

This one worked well. Lovely lines colours and textures against the deep blue sky. Quite appealing to view. Well done.

Cheers - Ann :)
