About Taken near Hastings when the train stopped. After a full day of rain I couldn't believe the lovely colours in the sky.

Do you have your camera surgically attached to your body somehow, Meg? In the 24 hours of that day there might have been as many as 20 minutes available for you to capture such an extraordinary image. And you seem to do it over and over again. I stand in awe of your skill, and envy you your eyes...

Wonderful colours in the Sky Megan. We are blessed occasionally with wonderful sunsets similiar to this in Colorado, but I don't ever remember seeing one this spectacular in the UK (where I grew up).

Beautiful shot, Megan. The colors and the black silhouette of the trees are great. Looks like a definite wall hanger to me! You "dropped by" my photo, so I thought I'd come see some of your work!

The colors are magnificent Megan. I think the blues are purples are lovely compliments to the striking reds and oranges you caught. The crop is just about right too. Hastings, eh? I wonder if this is the kind of sunset that William the Conquerer saw in 1066.

Dramatic and richly saturated colors. Good be just a tad sharper but that could be from the compression.

This photograph must surely be a competition winner. It is beautiful. I didn't think the sky could look so good without the help of filters or digital manipulation! Well done you for having your camera with you when you needed it!
