This tree has had a busy day. It is a tree with a lot of character, so I can see how it appeals to you. It looks beautiful silhouetted, off center against the golden sky. I am sorry, noise (in pictures) is something I do not know much about.

Greg,
I really like this photo in Color vs B&W...the only thing I might do is crop a little bit off of the right side and a little off of the bottom. Also the noise isn't that bad, I think it adds to it, but that is just my thoughts.

In regard to the noise, you might need to try neatimage.com .. it has a free software that does wonders, give it a try,

Thanks Randy for the tip. Haven't used gaussian blurr before and hopefully if it works I have heaps of images to go through using it. Always thankful for any tips and advice.

You’ve decided for a right point of view! I wonder if little more light could make the clouds more attractive! But please do attention that it is just a personal flavour. The image has very nice silhouettes and effect. Well done!

hi Greg, nice composition with good silhouette and pretty sky. You might try some selective gaussian blur to lower noise in sky.

Hi Greg, Great colours in the sky... a little noise around the horizon as mentioned but not enough to take away from the overall picture. Good composition as well.
