Amazing shot! It looks so sharp and colours are so vibrant. The perspective takes account for much part of the success of the photo I think.

My dear Bob

Let me be very honest and direct with you in the hope that this might encourage you to become an intermediate level from the beginner that you obviously are.
How can you say my dear Bob that this can be different from anything else because a very small aeroplane in the background that looks more like a distraction than a point interest in the picture.
If this made it different in some way then the background would change every day with the passing clouds.
Please Bob push yourself a little further
It is obviously leaning back it can not be like this in real life
I don’t like this shot very much

Thank you Marian for your wonderful comment my dear!!!!!!!,no PS work on this one,I could have
stratend it up a bit but when I had a second look it was the wide angle lens that makes it leen back.Best wishes to you Maria stay bright....Bob.

Thank Brian for that comment, but the way I took it was too give a three dee look amout it,also
I do not like to take the clasic shot as there
are to many of them. Also I would not have got it in standing under it,this is a diferant position
from moset photo,s I have seen and I like it,thanke for your comment anyway Brian cheers.
Bob.

dare i critique. bob i look at this and the aeroplane plays no part has it is so small as a subject against what the real shot is really about. however the wideangle perspective is really good and you have captured the colours and texture really well. my alternative is i know the size of this monument or statue and has i said the wide angle view is great but what it lacks is height in the overall shot.
perhaps if you got down lower or got right underneath this and still capturing all of the monument in the frame. please dont see this has a negative view i actually like the shot very much but sometimes its nice to throw around different ideas at each other.

regards

brian

This is a well composed, shot, with great colors, light and details. I think the angle you shot this from gives that angel a majestic look.

Excellent Bobby... love the contrast between the angel & the plane flying up high... such a lovely clear sky too... think spring is springing early this year. Love all the ones you sent over for me to see... my fav though has to be the one where the sun is setting behind the Angel... you must put that on here also... infact they are all worthy ... brilliant... wish I was with you for this shoot... maybe one for the summer. Sue xx
