This is a sideview of the Cathedral St-Antoine-de-Padoue, in Longueuil, on the south shore of Montreal. It was built in 1884-1887. It is approved as a historic monument.
Always! In the last three years, I bought 9 cameras, most Canon products. I got very good deal because they are 35mm cameras. I have very good cameras, they were the best in their time. I work on the road, an outside saleman. At every noon, I don't eat, I took pictures during my lunch hour, depending where I am and the temperature. But I don't have digital camera, only 35mm cams. I have always a b&w film and a color one in it. If you want to see my equipment, go on my site on Pbase.com at this adress, you will see the cameras and the lens I have. And thank you very much for your comment, I really appreciate it. http://www.pbase.com/mikoyen/my_cameras Guy
I definitely prefer this B&W version. It is more elegant and attracts the eyes towards the beautiful architecture of the building. Here the soaring steeple on the right side speaks of spiritual enlightening, while in the coloured shot the eyes are attracted by the beautiful sky more than the rest of the photo. The leafless trees in foreground bring an accent of warmth, without them it would have been a stern image.
