About Loving summer ... spent hours exploring with my husband yesterday. Through sand dunes, shallow inlets and awesome surf. Not a sole anywhere to be seen ;)

Breathtaking!

Excellent composition.

I wish our beaches in California looked like this and that our waters were half as clear.

What a great day you and your husband must have had here - paradise.

A beautiful shot, Peta. I love the texture created by the pattern of the foam on the water's surface. Very nice!

Hello Ina - Thank you! Just takes a beautiful day, anyone would come away with gorgeous shots from this beach! I also liked how the water line crossed the scene diagonally :)

Hi Peta, this one's my favorite from the series, the clarity and foam patterns in the water are magic! Also I like how the water edge leads the eye into the distant horizon and up to the blue sky. Perfect tonal balance! I love the foreground the most, the water clarity is incredible, actually it could work even w/out the sky on its own, cropped just above the tiny white clouds. Best regards and Happy Val Day :) Ina

Peta,

nice curves and patterns! I love when I scrolled down to look at the entire image, that the fractle in the waves foam was there. Grad on the sky? The exposure is wonderful!

Nice nature pic Peta!

cheers,
-Joel

God help them all,LOL. one word of advice Start in Darwin and work your way down, Darwin is not the place to be through the "build up" (leading up to the wet season) very hot and humid and energy sapping, lived there for a few years, cheers Jase

I would be too, with that view... only seven more months to go and I'll be standing on such a beautiful beach... if they are just as nice on the West Coast that is... Yes, you can warn everyone you know who lives between Darwin and Perth.... 'calamity' Petal is comming in October.... yippie (for me...)!!!! Beautiful sky/color, like the low angle, good composition... well done!!! And good luck on organizing the precaution measures... LOL!!!
