Hi Chuck,
Of the "Front-Range" cities in this state, Colorado Springs is my favorite. I'm about 85 miles south-west of "Springs", in a rural area between Salida and Canon City. Landscape photo opportunities abound in Colorado, perhaps after you're settled in we can go "shooting"!
Best regards, Kes

Kes,
Thank-you for the kind words...Also I'm sorry for nhot writing back sooner...I recently moved from one duty station to another duty station...I'm still trying to get settled in and at the same time I just cam out of the "Box" (what we call the field)...Also I just posted another silhouette today...What part of Colorado are you from...I'm looking at maybe retiring in Co Springs in a few years...Well again "Thanks"!
Best Wishes, Chuck

Excellent! Wow - I like the silhouette!
I think you said in one of your comments you wanted to get in on some landscape photography some day. If you are ever in Colorado look me up I'll try to keep some sites in mind.

Tracey,
Thank-you for the feed back - the dust out there was like baby powder - very fine and just got into everything - It was rough on my camera gear.
Best Wishes,
Chuck

Good shot showing the conditions of the battlefield, Chuck! I like the billowing dust and angle of the truck, giving the sense of movement. I guess this is an unusual situation where everyone on both sides of the conflict has access to a lot of the same information, and can express their ideas about it in any forum, even one like this. Goes with our modern technology, I guess. Dave.
