Kathy, thanks for sharing barn talk! Fish-eye is not my favourite lens for what I thought would be a classic sentiment. I have de-fished the shot and not liked it, nor have I gotten what I wanted with other lens views. It remains a desolated, spooky item - what it is. I expect it to be torn down within the year. Eb

Thanks for your comment, Ina. I was disappointed in photographing this barn because I could not get a classical "quaint" feel, with or without the fisheye. It's apparent spookiness can't be covered up - so it took me two months to finally accept it. Eb

This is right up my alley, Eb! I've been shooting a lot of barns lately. I like the abandoned look of this one, and the interesting architecture. I'm not a fan of fisheye, and would prefer it without, but, or course, that's just a personal thing. Kathy

Nice capture EB, the fish eye adds lots of flavor with the wide angle prospective, very well composed and captured, Regards,

Cari, this place is spooky, even without the distortion of the fisheye. It is near your place. Go to the end of Russel Road and at the top there is an abandoned farmstead. Eb

Pat, there are surely lots of barns since the upper Fraser Valley is primarily agriculture. Not many old picturesque once anymore since agribusiness has gotten into it with barns the size of a city block. Eb

Eb - A real "cozy" shot. Nice composition. Do you have alot of barns in your area to shoot? Would make a nice addition to your portfolio.

Beautiful barn and great snow patterns on the trees! I think the fisheye gives it a spooky look, which is great! Wonderful clarity and grey tones :) Ina
